TNT Gets Back on Track

TNT hammered the first place Benders 11-6 Sunday night for their first victory of the season. The Benders had allowed only 7 goals through two games, but the boys in orange & black took advantage of their short bench (and 10 minute misconduct).  TNT charged out to a 6-1 lead with stellar play by Adam Weber and a couple pretty assists by Ben “Have No” Fehr.  The boys kept it interesting by letting the lead slip to 6-5 by the second intermission, but hired gun Jason Porter put the game away in the 3rd by completing his hattie.  Jim Fish wobbled around on his new skates early, but found his balance enough to notch a hat trick of his own.

Next game is Sunday 10/18 at 10:40 against North Stars.  That’s our captain’s birthday so let’s skate hard.  Fish is on beer duty.
