TNT Continues to Roll
In a clean and well played game, TNT defeated Average Joe’s 7-6. Goaltender Adam Weber found a little bit of his game and made several key stops. The much vaunted “Sedin Line” with replacement center “Coach Tim” MacAlister was an 0′fer on scoring. The offseason move to pick up Steve “Carpy” Carpenter, yeilded great results with a hattrick from the blueliner. Brian “I never found a shot I did not like” Long added two with Ben “mgdf” Fehr and “Pistol Pete” Vollbrecht adding goals to make 7.
Our next game is Sunday @ 6:10 vs. North Stars, Brandon Sedin is on beer duty.
On a related note, Defenseman Matthew Broadus was placed on waivers to make cap room, no teams picked him up and he will be again skating for TNT on Sunday. Team Captain Ted Sanft was quoted as saying “If he has another -5 night, he is gonna have to start paying us to play”. But then he realized, we all pay to play (except maybe Weber)
